This is one of the iterations of the main Chimeran soldier for Resistance:Fall of Man that I designed back in 2005 for the Playstation 3. Not too much changed for the final version that's used in the game. The one noticeable thing is the value of the skin. The value of the skin is a lot lighter in the game. I just made it darker in this concept illustration since the soldier is in a dark environment.
Oh man, you designed the chimera for R1? ... There was just something about them in the first game that I loved that was lost in the second title... Although R2 has great chimera as well .
Thanks. We were keeping the colors very desaturated so that it would be more realistic. Especially compared to the other franchise we were working on, which was Ratchet and Clank.
